Last weekend we had the absolute pleasure of being apart of Flight Centre’s 2019 ‘Global Gathering’ in Las Vegas at the MGM Park Theatre. An event which recognises Flight Centre Travel Group employee’s from around the world, in total 3,500 people attended. For the first time the #eventprofs at CiEvents chose to have a live band on stage for the conference session - intro Ciaran Gribbin and our amazing San Francisco Band!

Opening the conference with a bang the band played “Bulls on Parade” by Rage Against the Machine as the event MC’s arrived to stage on the back of Harley Davidson Motorcycles - can’t get more rock n’ roll than that!! The opening song was followed up with approximately 60 pieces of music played live over the four hour morning session.

Ciaran Gribbin provided vocal coaching and stagecraft tips for the finalists of Flight Centre’s internal ‘Voice’ competition. These amazing singers performed live on stage with Ciaran Gribbin and did an amazing job performing two incredible songs from The Beatles and Queen.

At the evening Gala Awards Ciaran Gribbin, accompanied by a troupe of dancers, performed a medley of Australian songs to celebrate Global Gathering ‘Coming Home’ to Brisbane in 2020.

An enormous achievement for Ciaran Gribbin and our talented band who learnt songs and rehearsed for days in San Francisco prior to the gig. True professionals who delivered a world-class concert performance and we are truly proud to have been involved with such a prestigious event. Proof again that the universal language of music speaks volumes and a live music performance simply cannot be beaten to liven up an event. Thank you CiEvents for having us - we love working with you!
